Project: Garden on Eden

This 5,300 square-foot, custom-designed, modern home will set on a prominent, lakefront lot with mature hardwoods in Chapel Hill’s nationally-recognized Governors Club. The gated community boasts of 1,600 hilly, wooded acres with a private country club; 27-hole, Jack Nicklaus golf course; tennis courts; and indoor and outdoor pools. The Garden on Eden Estate home will stand out in this setting and will incorporate the latest in energy efficiency starting with the use of structural insulated panels for the walls and roof. Groundbreaking is scheduled for Spring 2019.

Project: Glen Haven Renovation

Glen Haven started out as a small renovation and evolved into a whole house remodel. This renovation included the following projects: 2nd story addition of a great room/bonus room above the garage, (2) story stairwell connector addition marrying the detached single story garage to the house, an addition of a mudroom and addition of a 1/2 bath, screened porch renovation with remote operable screen walls, removal of interior load bearing walls and construction of steel/wood beam members, new wood floors on second level, refinishing all remaining wood floors, total kitchen renovation and paint entire interior.

Project Description

This project was a whole house renovation, located on the Chapel Hill Country Club Golf Course. During Phase 1, we replaced all windows and doors, all exterior siding, front yard hardscape, interior metal/wood staircase, custom interior doors, kitchen renovation, removal of several load bearing walls, master bathroom remodel (includes steam shower), high end Scandinavian cabinetry, hand built wood/resin barn doors, and re-finished wood flooring.
